NPI/NPT Engineering Project Manager

Primary Responsibilities:\n\n * Oversee program transitions between different locations, ensuring a smooth transfer of programs.\n\n * Develop transition plans, define timelines and milestones, and coordinate with stakeholders.\n\n * Conduct technical assessments and ensure necessary resources are available for successful transitions.\n\n * Manage the entire manufacturing PDP specific tasks for NPI, including tactical build activities and driving specific tasks within the PDP.\n\n * Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to timelines, and meet PDP requirements.\n\n * Plan, execute, and evaluate readiness for managed, controlled, and validation builds for NPI projects.\n\n * Ensure material readiness, documentation completeness, resource availability, and appropriate tooling and floor space.\n\n * Drive overall manufacturing readiness assessment for new products.\n\n * Drive the technical issues to the resolution for the new products being developed.\n\n * Review technical specifications, coordinate with engineering teams, and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards.\n\n * Anticipate bottlenecks and manage critical risks by working collaboratively with the team to identify mitigations and implement effective workarounds.\n\n * Identify opportunities for improvement within the organization.\n\n * Analyze processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\n\n * Actively drive setting standard labor hours and reducing actual labor hours for new products.\n\n * Present status, issues, plans and roadmaps to executive level\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering or a related field.\n\n * Engineering background and manufacturing experience is a must.\n\n * Proven experience in project management, specifically in managing new product transitions.\n\n * Strong knowledge and understanding of the product development process (PDP) and new product introduction (NPI) methodologies.\n\n * Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.\n\n * Strong leadership abilities with the capability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.\n\n * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.\n\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues and bottlenecks during the transition process.\n\n * Proficient in project management tools and software.\n\n * Proven Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.\n\n * Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\n\n * Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.\n\n * Proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies.\n\n * Experience in the semiconductor industry, familiar with semiconductor equipment/process\n\n * Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.\n\n\n\n\nWork Location:\n\n * Upper Changi office\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\n7 - 10 Years\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nYes\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nEmployee Referral (Standard)\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
