Qualifications & experience

• Possess a NITEC qualification in Nursing or Community Care & Social Services.
• Certificate in Healthcare Support - Patient Care in HMI Institute of Health Sciences is welcomed to apply.
• WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services and with relevant work experience is welcomed to apply too.
• Prior experience in nursing care related services such as Patient Care Assistant, Therapy Assistant, and Porter is an added advantage.
• Must be able to work on rotating shift including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Assist doctors and registered nurses in simple procedures/treatments under supervision.
• Carrying out basic nursing procedures such as wound dressing.
• Documenting, monitoring and recording observations of residents and their vital signs and reporting changes in condition to the registered nurse.
• Supervise/assist residents in their daily needs (e.g. personal grooming and daily living activities).
• Escort residents for outings / medical appointments.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.
