Occupational Therapist

Our client is a well-established and respected rehabilitation clinic committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of individuals through personalised therapy. As the clinic continues to grow, they are looking for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and run occupational therapy services in the Senior Care Centre.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients during admission and periodic reviews.
• Design and implement customised therapy programmes to support clients daily living and functional abilities.
• Provide hands-on therapy, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and contribute to Individual Care Plans (ICP).
• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions for day care clients.
• Review and revise therapy schedules to ensure programme effectiveness and quality.
• Understand dementia-related behavioural issues and manage clients accordingly.
• Build strong, respectful relationships with clients, caregivers, and families.
• Maintain proper and accurate therapy records.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by the Centre Manager.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
• SNC accreditation is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital, eldercare, or community setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about working with frail seniors and helping them regain independence.
• Able to work some Saturdays (with a weekday off in-lieu).
• Newly registered occupational therapists with the right mindset are welcome to apply.
