The Opportunity:

  • Permanent role
  • Work location: Central
  • Up to $4000

Adecco is partnering with a semi-govt organization to seek for an Office Procurement Executive who will be responsible for ensuring that the company procures products and services ethically. Responsibilities may include collaborating with internal stakeholders, analyzing market trends, maintaining precise records, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.

The Job:

  • Sourcing and vetting suppliers/vendors based on criteria such as quality, price, delivery, and service.
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions and pricing.
  • Maintaining relationships with current suppliers while seeking out potential new ones.
  • Addressing issues with defective goods through effective communication and corrective measures.
  • Monitoring and managing supply inventory levels, including negotiating emergency deals with vendors when necessary.
  • Collaborating with internal teams like production, logistics, and finance to ensure timely procurement.
  • Conducting market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance procurement strategies.
  • Providing administrative support for smooth office operations, including daily document filing.
  • Assisting in overseeing and replenishing office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Handling incoming calls and emails, as well as coordinating meetings and events.
  • Performing additional administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

The Talent:

  • Minimum Degree in Business or Supply Chain
  • Min 3 years of working experience
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and technology
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Office Supplies procurement
