Officer, Credit/Loans Operations (Corporate Banking)

StriveX is representing a well-established regional bank in Singapore seeking a meticulous and experienced Credit Operations professional to join their loan operations team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end administration of bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Review legal documentation for bilateral and syndicated credit facilities to ensure alignment with credit approvals, and accurately interpret facility agreements for transaction permissibility.
2. Manage the full lifecycle of loan drawdowns, rollovers, principal repayments, and interest collections for both bilateral and syndicated loans.
3. Examine utilisation requests, verify facility limits and conditions precedent, and prepare SWIFT payment instructions for loan disbursements.
4. Process Bank Guarantees, Standby Letters of Credit, and perform AML/KYC checks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
5. Liaise with Relationship Managers on outstanding documentation, and prepare local regulatory reports and Head Office submissions.
6. Collaborate with IT teams on system upgrades and UAT rollouts, and undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned by Management.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in credit documentation and loan administration.
3. Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and in a team.
4. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
6. Proactive, with a positive working attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
