Officer, Procurement(HQ)

1. Job Description

Shortlisted candidates will be seconded to the respective welfare homes as stated below.

Work Location: HQ

• Drive continuous procurement operations and function 

• Identify, process, and lead in end-to-end purchase requisition process 

• Execute end-to-end procurement and related functions in accordance with organisational policies and procedures 
• Manage procurement administrative matters including but not limited to training of staff, implementation of policies, review of structure, and process improvements 
• Manage sourcing and purchase monitoring in accordance with assigned budget, approved proposals and organisation policies 
• Assist in contract and vendor management matters including but not limited to performance monitoring, vendor assessment, negotiations, and vendor engagement 
• Assist in audit matters 
• Escalate and report any financial irregularities to Reporting Officer 
• Support PERTAPIS programmes and activities as assigned by Reporting Officer and Higher Management 
• Carry out any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Officer and Higher Management 

2. Candidate Requirements

• Minimum “N” or “O”, Nitec or Diploma in Procurement / Supply Management /Logistics / Accounts / Business Administration or any related field
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player and able to work independently

3. Working Hours

5 days work - 9am to 6pm

HQ - 1 Joo Chiat Complex
