Onshore Mechanical Technician

Ashtead Technology are looking for an Onshore Mechanical Technician to join the team in Singapore to support the growth and development of our Mechanical Solutions service line. This is a key role that will involve hands-on operation and maintenance of ROV tooling and subsea decommissioning equipment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Inspection, testing, repairing of ROV Tooling and Mechanical Solutions equipment for hire


• Ensuring equipment is fully prepared for hire and is tested, labelled, calibrated and packaged appropriately before delivery


• Identify and report faults or damage on returned equipment and carry out repairs as required


• Provide technical support to customers, including assistance during mobilisations and site testing
  

What experience you’ll bring:

• Hands on experience in a Technician role undertaking repair, maintenance and testing of ROV Tooling and Mechanical Solutions equipment, preferably in a subsea environment


• An understanding of mechanics and hydraulics and ability to read schematics, including fault finding


• Strong team working and problem solving capabilities
