Job Description - OPERATION MANAGER

Job Description: Karaoke Lounge Manager

Overview: As a Karaoke Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the karaoke lounge, ensuring a fun and memorable experience for guests while maintaining a high level of service and efficiency. You will manage a team of staff, coordinate events, and handle administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the establishment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Staff Management:Recruit, train, and supervise karaoke hosts, bartenders, servers, and other staff members.
    Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
    Provide ongoing training and performance evaluations to maintain high service standards.
  2. Customer Service:Ensure excellent customer service at all times, addressing guest concerns and resolving conflicts promptly.
    Interact with guests to ensure they are having a positive experience and provide assistance as needed.
    Monitor customer satisfaction through feedback and implement improvements as necessary.
  3. Operations Management:Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and maintenance of equipment.
    Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  4. Event Coordination:Plan and coordinate special events, promotions, and themed nights to attract customers and increase revenue.
    Work with marketing team to advertise events and attract new customers.
    Coordinate with vendors and entertainment acts as necessary.
  5. Financial Management:Monitor financial performance and create budgets to meet revenue and profit goals.
    Analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
    Control operating expenses to maximize profitability.
  6. Community Engagement:Build relationships with the local community and promote the karaoke lounge as a social hub.
    Participate in community events and sponsorships to increase brand visibility and goodwill.

Requirements:

  1. Experience:Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably in a bar or nightclub setting.
    Experience in karaoke entertainment and familiarity with karaoke systems is highly desirable.
  2. Leadership Skills:Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and motivate staff.
    Ability to delegate tasks and provide guidance to ensure smooth operations.
  3. Customer Focus:Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive experience for guests.
    Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner.
  4. Organizational Skills:Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  5. Communication Skills:Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Ability to communicate with staff, customers, and vendors effectively.
  6. Flexibility:Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry.
    Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle high-pressure situations calmly.
  7. Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  8. Additional Requirements:Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications or licenses for serving alcohol in your jurisdiction.
    Knowledge of local entertainment laws and regulations is beneficial.
