Operation Technician [West Chemical Up to $3k]

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations for ASDM activities including planning, execution, and review phases.
• Prepare procedures using Visio, Excel, or Word; allocate blind spots for critical activities, and implement LOTO instructions during preparation phases.
• Coordinate daily tasks, provide support for critical activities, and oversee site work execution during execution phases.
• Review procedures for continuous improvement, evaluate ASDM schedules, and assess safety measures during review phases.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping according to SOPs and EHS regulations.
• Support troubleshooting, investigations, and abnormality reports, and assist in revising manufacturing SOPs and check sheets.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, report incidents promptly, and support data collection and sample gathering as required.

Requirements

• Experienced in annual shutdown/startup is preferred. 
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a chemical processing environment is required. 
• Experience in polymerization and/or extrusion is advantageous. 
• Must possess basic knowledge of chemical processing with a working understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and SS 651. 
• Proficient in using computing software such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Visio.
