Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations cum R&D Administrator to join our Food Brand team, specializing in multi-brand products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and product development support within the food brands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Halal Compliance:
- Perform and support Halal Quality Management (HalMQ) documentation and Halal Application/Renewal processes.
- Conduct Halal audits and ensure adherence to Halal standards across all operations.
- Conduct regular compliance checks at outlets, including CCTV monitoring and physical visits.
2. Outlet Compliance Checks:
- Ensure compliance with food quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and cleanliness guidelines.
- Outlet visits may require working weekends or after office hours to accommodate operational schedules.
- Monitor and maintain adherence to food quality standards and SOPs.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards across all outlets and operational areas.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to implement and enforce cleanliness protocols.
3. R&D Support:
- Provide support in R&D activities, including documentation of SOPs and conducting simple product training sessions.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop innovative food products and improve existing offerings.
- Assist in developing and documenting SOPs for product development and operational processes.
4. Administrative Tasks:
- Assist in administrative tasks related to operations and R&D as needed.
5. Opportunities for Overseas Travel:
- There may be opportunities to travel overseas to provide training and support for new branch setups.
- Ensure consistency in operations, compliance, and product quality across branches.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome. Training will be provided.
- Prior experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in Halal food production and compliance will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Halal certification processes and requirements in Singapore.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or after office hours, for outlet visits and operational requirements.
