Operations Analyst

Aurigin Capital Management is a growing MAS registered investment manager focused on long/short investing in Asia. We are looking for an Operations Analyst to work with senior staff in maintaining an institutional quality operations and reporting framework.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensure that trades and other transactions are correctly and timely booked
2. Liaising with the Prime Brokers, Custodians, Brokers and Futures Clearing Members as needed for break resolution and other issues
3. Review of the Month End NAV Pack from Fund Administrator, Reconciling PNL between Fund Administrator and Portfolio Management Software (PMS)
4. Preparing Risk Exposure Reports and Monthly Attribution data; other data management and analysis
5. Automating the processes as much as possible
6. Assisting with queries for the Fund Audit
7. Support Senior Personnel in various projects in operations and compliance

Experience:

At least 1 year of relevant experience in the financial industry in some operations capacity or at least 2 years at a fund administrator or similar role.

Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, numerate

Ideally experience in OMS/PMS systems

Impeccable attention to detail

Ability to complete simultaneous tasks while under time pressure

You are confident, flexible, self starter who is action and results orientated. You need strong organizational and communication skills and have the ability to work under deadlines, ability to multi task and must be attentive to details.

Monthly salary commensurate with experience and opportunity for annual discretionary bonus.
