Operations Assistant/Executive - Boarding Officer

We are seeking a committed and resourceful Shipping Agent / Boarding Officer to support vessel operations and crew matters in Singapore port limits. The candidate will be responsible for attending onboard vessels, coordinating with authorities, principals, owners, masters, and service providers to ensure smooth vessel turnaround and operational efficiency.

This role requires an individual who is highly responsive, independent, and capable of handling multiple operational matters simultaneously in a fast-paced maritime environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend onboard vessels for operational boarding activities
• Coordinate vessel arrivals, departures, and port clearance procedures
• Liaise with:Vessel Masters and crewPort authoritiesImmigration and customs officersManning agentsLaunch service providersChandlers and logistics vendors
• Arrange and coordinate:Crew changesShip spares deliveryShip stores supplyImmigration clearanceMedical arrangementsTransport and hotel bookings
• Prepare and submit operational documentation accurately and promptly
• Monitor vessel schedules and ensure all operations are executed within required timelines
• Respond to operational matters and emergencies outside normal office hours when required
• Provide timely updates to clients and internal operations team
• Ensure compliance with port regulations, company procedures, and safety requirements
  
  Requirements
  
  Prior experience in shipping agency, port operations, marine logistics, or vessel coordination is preferred
• Candidates without experience but willing to learn may also apply
• Possess good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and operational environment
• Able to work irregular hours, weekends, public holidays, and after office hours when required
• Familiar with Singapore port operations is an advantage
