Operations Executive

• Oversee daily bunker operations and align vessel schedules to keep activities running smoothly.
  


• Engage with vessel masters, barge operators, surveyors, suppliers, and port authorities on bunker delivery arrangements.
  


• Observe bunker loading and discharging activities to safeguard operational efficiency and compliance.
  


• Compile and validate operational documents, including Bunker Delivery Notes (BDN), cargo documents, delivery reports, port documentation, and Statements of Facts (SOF).
  


• Follow vessel movements and keep customers informed on operational status.
  


• Capture accurate records of cargo quantities, fuel transfers, and inventory movements.
  


• Carry out spot checks to confirm bunker operations meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  


• Work alongside internal departments to address operational issues, claims, discrepancies, or delays, including post-fixture matters and day-to-day challenges.
  


• Organise and uphold proper documentation, filing, and operational reporting, with timely updates to management.
  


• Assist with emergency response and incident handling, while upholding company policies, maritime regulations, and industry standards.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
  


• At least 3 years of relevant experience in bunker operations, shipping operations, tanker operations, or the maritime industry.
  


• Working knowledge of maritime documentation and operational processes, with proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Singapore port operations and bunker procedures is an advantage.
  


• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to perform in a fast-paced operational environment.
