Operations Executive

Responsibilities

• Assign and distribute job orders to Cargo Officers in a timely and organised manner
• Coordinate closely with agents to manage bunker supplies and terminal loading schedules
• Develop and oversee daily job schedules to ensure smooth fleet operations
• Keep ship agencies regularly updated and maintain consistent communication for timely information exchange
• Organise and maintain filing systems, records, and databases to support operational accuracy
• Track vessel schedules and flag any deviations or delays to relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure operational requirements are met across the fleet
• Prepare and update operational reports for management review
• Monitor compliance with operational procedures and safety protocols
• Support ad hoc projects, activities, and administrative duties as required by the operations team

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in shipping, fleet operations, or a similar logistics environment
• Familiarity with vessel scheduling, bunker management, and terminal loading processes
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage records and databases accurately
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast paced environment
