Operations Executive - Urgent Role

Job Description:

The Group Operations Executive supports the coordination of day-to-day production operations and schedules. He/ She collates and analyses production and budget data, resolves production-related issues and oversees workplace safety and health compliance for his/ her assigned production areas.

He/ she is tasked with ensuring that all sales order received from the Sales Department and Business Development Executive are delivered on time and manufactured according to specifications

He/ she also contributes to production efficiency through the implementation of new and/ or enhanced production processes and the acquisition of new machinery.

He/ she is a team player, possessing good communication skills, and provides direction to achieve organisational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily production schedule and plan overtime for production team
• Prepare and issue work orders to all department supervisors
• Meet and follow up with the various workshop personnel involved the manufacturing process and obtain manufacturing updates
• Ensure the production progress to ensure that production is according to specifications and all orders are to delivered on time
• Conduct detailed quality checks on semi-finished or final products from outsourced suppliers delivered goods
• Ensure that detailed records of production during the entire process. This includes design changes, material specification and any issues faced by the production team
• Manage the retrieval and storekeeping of precious metals
• Receive and process job requirements from ROYAL INSIGNIA’s Sales Executive/Managing Director/Product Development Team/Boutique Executive
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers to obtain quotation for materials
• Issue Job Orders and Purchase Orders to both local and overseas suppliers
• Supervise the import and export of products. This included monitoring delivery charges, deadlines and QC of all incoming goods
• Compliance to ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) for Operations domain
• Procurement of tools and material for internal production process not limited to E.g., Brass, Paint, Machine Oil, Acrylic, Clothes, Packaging Material (Small Plastic), miscellaneous accessories
• Any other duties and responsibilities as deemed fit by the management

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Industrial and Operations Management or a similar discipline
• 1 to 3 years experience in the field of operations or manufacturing industry preferred
• Prior experience as a production assistant/ production supervisor/ shipping assistant would be an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
