Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Strategically deploy cleaning teams, plan shift rosters, and manage the logistics of multi-site operations
• Oversee the procurement, tracking, and maintenance of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment
• Conduct regular walk-throughs and audits to ensure cleaning standards, health regulations, and hygiene protocols are consistently met
• Enforce workplace safety, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to local regulatory guidelines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and boosting retention rates
• Respond swiftly to service feedback, investigate incidents, and implement corrective measures
• Oversee on-the-job training (OJT) for new hires, including teaching efficient cleaning techniques and safety protocols
• Conduct staff appraisals, handle disciplinary matters, and resolve employee disputes
• Prepare operational budgets and forecasts, and track expenses to maintain cost-effective workflows
• Analyse operational data and KPIs to suggest strategies that boost productivity and optimise resources

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of managerial experience within the commercial cleaning, janitorial, or facility management industry
• Strong conflict resolution, decision-making, and communication skills to rally a diverse team
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good knowledge of cleaning operations, WSH regulations, and industry best practices
• Familiar with the commercial bidding process for outsource cleaning contracts
• Proven track record of handling diverse portfolio of clients in both residential and commercial cleaning
• Must be able to communicate in Chinese due to Chinese speaking stakeholders and clients
