Job Description - Operations Officer / Executive (Inventory Management) - Urgent

We are looking to hire an influential Operations Officer / Executive (Inventory Management) to join our diverse team at Singapore Post Limited in Paya Lebar, East Region.

Key responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Utilize Computer-aided Maintenance Management software (CMMS) to update inventory status in real-time and monitor parts availability in SharePoint and Power BI, ensuring routine stock replenishment.
  • Forecast and consolidate spare parts list, which require to be stocked up in advance to ensure monthly KPIs of the parts availability are met.
  • Ensure regulatory/audit requirements such as Work at Height/MEWP licenses, SDS validity, PPE inspection etc. are met at all times.
  • Ensure prompt renewal of necessary licenses and permits.
  • Prepare inventory master list of spare parts whenever a new infrastructure is transferred from Future of Post (FOP) to Front End Support (FES)
  • Communicate with suppliers for RFQ spare parts and spare parts/lockers purchase and managing suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of spare parts/lockers.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly inventory report to update management on the inventory status and the purchased spare parts deliveries status.
  • Prepare monthly department expense report to update management on areas of actual expense vs budget and assist management to explore areas of wastage, which could be reduced.
  • Review License Agreement with legal team.
  • Update master list to inform various stakeholders on updates for locker arrangements.
  • Prepare and submit fuel detailed report.
  • Obtain sort code approval from MIS Manager for new lockers, to be input into MMS system.
  • Perform ad-hoc projects and assignments when required.

 

Requirements:

  • ITE from a recognized tertiary institution, preferably in Engineering or Logistic/Supply Chain related.
  • 1 to 3 years of practical experience in equipment maintenance and / or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of sorting equipment, material handling system or automation equipment will be an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good team player with high level of initiative and independence.
