Operations Specialist (Workers Welfare / HR) - Competitive Pay

Role Summary / Purpose:

The Operation Specialist is responsible for assessing, supporting, and promoting the welfare of Foreign Workers within the company in direct communication with the Training Leader and Deputy Site Leader. 

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma from reputable academic institutions 
• Working independently to promote and assess the welfare of Foreign Workers (FW).
• Perform interviews of FW and audits of their living space to ensure their well-being. Provide guidance to FW in line with MOM rules to ensure their place of stay and the landlord are working in line with established regulations.
• Support HR as needed when FW need to return to home country on an urgent basis.
• Support the Training Leader in admin matters as assigned.
• Experience in government grant administration will have an added advantage

Desired Characteristics:

• Able to work outside office with flexible work hours as needed to accomplish the assign tasks.
• Able to navigate independently to FW places of stay during second shift hours to conduct assessment.
• Ability to work independently and follow through with the process
• Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with an eye for detail

Essential responsibilities:

Workers’ welfare administration, coordination, and support of Foreign Worker Tenant service (FWTES).

• Contract tracing on worker’s employment and residing location. 
• Updating company policies and ensuring legal compliance.
• Acting as the first point of contact for Foreign Worker queries on housing.

Training development administration, coordination, and support for training activities such as.

• Internship / Apprenticeship program
• Career Conversion Program
• Liaise with education institution and government agencies, auditors and other external parties when necessary.
• Maintain proper filing, archiving of supporting documents for audit purpose.
