Job Description

• Position Title: Operations Superintendent (Plant Operations)
• Working Location: Tuas (Company transportation provided)
• Working Hours: 5 Days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + Retention Bonus + Incentive + Shift Allowance + Transport Allowance + OT Pay + AWS
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure all activities are always carried out safely, including after office hours, nights, and weekends.
• Support shift supervisors in managing operations, ensuring smooth workflows and proper staff discipline.
• Coordinate with departments, contractors, and relevant parties on work arrangements, staffing, and site matters.
• Act as the person-in-charge after office hours to handle and manage emergency situations.
• Participate in plant shutdown activities when required.
• Monitor and manage the CCR (Central Control Room) system.
• Conduct routine checks every four hours using the Duty Superintendent Checklist.
• Review daily operations and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Inspect firefighting equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Oversee waste unloading to ensure proper handling, correct PPE use, proper grounding, and no spillage.
• Monitor staff break times during night shifts, weekends, and public holidays to ensure coverage.
• Comply with all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Diploma in Engineering or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a process-related industry.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
