Job Title: Operations Supervisor (Project Logistics)

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on daily activities for the PL Re-Supply Ocean Freight department, collaborating with OM and HOD as needed.
• Ensure job file management, billing, invoicing, costing, and reporting comply with standards.
• Oversee development of new PL Re-Supply Ocean Freight business and set commercial policies.
• Manage financial aspects, billing, invoicing, and reporting for freight in compliance with standards.
• Conduct reporting for Ocean Freight Export department per requirements.
• Train freight personnel on information systems and ensure proper usage.
• Handle tender, pricing requests, and negotiate competitive price structures.
• Procure, source, and negotiate ocean freight contracts for competitive pricing.
• Prepare and submit various reports, including training new staff.
• Address negative files, negotiate with vendors to mitigate impact, and perform other assigned functions.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent certification in logistics preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or related field, preferably as a supervisor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP systems such as CargoWise.
• Proactive, team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective problem solver and analytical thinker.
• Self-motivated with excellent negotiation skills.
