Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Outdoor Sales Manager oversees and directs the outdoor sales team, responsible for generating revenue through outdoor sales activities, including prospecting, client engagement, and closing deals. This role requires strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive sales performance while fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. The Outdoor Sales Manager plays a key role in developing sales strategies, managing sales targets, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the outdoor sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to optimize performance and achieve sales targets.
  2. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  3. Territory Management: Allocate sales territories, set sales quotas, and define performance metrics for the outdoor sales team, ensuring optimal coverage and resource allocation.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects, participating in client meetings, negotiations, and presentations as needed.
  5. Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, and sales metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  6. Sales Training and Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to the outdoor sales team, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  7. Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in outdoor sales sectors, using insights to inform sales strategies and decision-making.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and customer service teams, to ensure alignment and coordination in executing sales initiatives.
  9. Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular reports and updates on sales performance, pipeline status, and achievements for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  10. Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities, maintaining integrity and professionalism in client interactions and negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field 
  • Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • At least 3-5 years of outdoor sales experience, preferably in the vending industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team of sales professionals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to sales planning, forecasting, and decision-making.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving sales targets, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possession of vehicle with valid driving license is a plus.
