Job Title: Paralegal, 1-2 years' experience Team: Liability Defence Location: Singapore Role Kennedys is looking for a Paralegal with 1-years' litigation experience* to join our Singapore office in the Liability Defence team.
The ideal candidate will have experience handling motor insurance, work injury and public liability claims. Apart from being technically good at the job, we expect the Paralegal that we hire to be someone who is authentic and a team player.
This is a great opportunity for Paralegal who is keen to work on Singapore litigation work and be part of a collegiate and highly regarded team within a fast growing international law firm.
Team Kennedys Singapore office was established in 2008 and in 2015 entered into a joint law venture (JLV) with local Singapore law firm, Legal Solutions to create Kennedys Legal Solutions. Kennedys Legal Solutions is the Singapore office of the international law firm Kennedys which has 45 offices around the world.
We pride ourselves on helping our clients navigate both business and legal challenges throughout the Asia Pacific region and across multiple practice areas, with a strong focus in both the commercial and insurance/reinsurance sector. We provide a seamless suite of services across both English and Singapore law and are closely connected with our offices in Hong Kong, Australia and the Middle East, as well as partner firms across Asia.
Required Experience - 1 - 2 years' litigation experience*
- Motor, work injury, public liability claims and liability experience
- Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills
- Strong technical and research skills
- Attention to detail
- Asian language skills would be advantageous
Clients - Insurance and reinsurance companies
Cases - Personal injury and property damage motor claims
- Work injury compensation and common law work injury claims
- Public liability claims
- Insurance/Reinsurance claims and Aviation liability disputes in various jurisdictions
- Advice on regulatory law
- Alternative dispute resolution
