ServiceNow is seeking a Partner Technology Architect — Technology Partners to serve as the primary strategic and technical interface across our Technology Partner ecosystem, spanning three distinct partner types: Technology Partners and Builders (ISVs), Strategic Technology Partnerships, and Hyperscalers. This role sits at the intersection of partner technical enablement, joint solution development, platform co-innovation, and pre-sales excellence. 

You will work across the full spectrum of technology partnerships — from guiding ISVs building differentiated applications on the Now Platform, to driving joint reference architectures and integration strategies with strategic technology partners like Tanium, Boomi, and others, to enabling joint GTM programs and cloud-native innovation with hyperscalers including AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. 

This role requires the versatility to adapt engagement models across partner types: deep platform architecture and Store certification expertise for ISVs, integration strategy and joint solution positioning for strategic tech partnerships, and cloud infrastructure alignment and marketplace orchestration for hyperscalers. Across all three, the common thread is translating ServiceNow’s AI platform capabilities into differentiated, commercially viable partner solutions that drive customer outcomes. 

What You’ll Do 

As a Partner Technology Architect — Technology Partners, you will own the technical advisory relationship across assigned technology partners — from initial engagement and architecture through co-innovation, validation, and scaled commercialization. You will tailor your approach to three distinct partnership models: 

ISV & Build Partners 

• Guide Technology Partners through onboarding, technical architecture planning, and solution validation aligned to the Partner Co-Innovation Framework. 
• Co-create differentiated, validated solutions aligned to strategic growth areas including AI Agents, industry verticals, and platform extensibility. 
• Drive partners through the Co-Innovation Lifecycle (Phases 0–5) ensuring solutions meet architecture, security, and quality standards for Store certification. 
• Guide partners through Store certification, packaging standards, and Protection Policy requirements for IP protection; advise on monetization models and Accelerator-to-Product graduation. 

Strategic Technology Partnerships 

• Architect and validate joint integration patterns between ServiceNow and strategic technology platforms, ensuring bidirectional data flows, workflow orchestration, and AI interoperability. 
• Co-develop reference architectures, joint solution blueprints, and technical collateral that articulate the combined value of ServiceNow with partner technologies across enterprise use cases. 
• Lead technical discovery and joint solutioning sessions with strategic tech partner engineering and product teams to identify integration opportunities and whitespace. 
• Support joint GTM motions by providing technical validation, competitive positioning, and solution demonstrations that showcase integrated capabilities to end customers. 
• Maintain deep understanding of strategic partner product roadmaps and capabilities to identify co-innovation opportunities and ensure alignment with ServiceNow platform evolution. 

Hyperscaler Partnerships 

• Enable joint GTM programs with AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure by developing cloud-native reference architectures, deployment patterns, and infrastructure alignment guidance. 
• Advise on AI separation strategies, Workflow Data Fabric as the integration plane, cost controls, and data residency and security considerations for hyperscaler-hosted deployments. 
• Support marketplace listing strategies and co-sell programs across hyperscaler ecosystems, ensuring ServiceNow solutions are positioned effectively alongside cloud infrastructure offerings. 
• Drive partner understanding of how ServiceNow’s AI platform complements and extends hyperscaler AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI) rather than competes. 
• Facilitate joint technical workshops and innovation labs that demonstrate the combined power of ServiceNow workflows with hyperscaler infrastructure and AI services. 

Cross-Partner Responsibilities 

• Help all technology partner types embed and leverage AI capabilities within their solutions, showcasing platform-native features including AI Agents, workflows, and intelligent automation. 
• Drive partner understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and compliance requirements for AI-enabled solutions. 
• Represent partner needs back to product and engineering teams to influence roadmap alignment and platform capability priorities. 
• Track partner innovation trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technology developments to inform Technology Partner program evolution across all three partner types. 

Required: 

• 8+ years in technical sales, pre-sales, solution architecture, or technical consulting with enterprise software platforms. 
• Proven experience working across technology partner ecosystems including ISVs, strategic technology partnerships, and/or cloud infrastructure providers. 
• Strong understanding of SaaS application architecture including scoped applications, multi-tenancy, API design, platform extensibility, and integration patterns. 
• Experience designing and validating integration architectures between enterprise platforms, including API-based integrations, event-driven patterns, and data synchronization strategies. 
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and how enterprise SaaS platforms operate within cloud-native ecosystems. 
• Experience guiding partners through complex solution designs, certification processes, and commercialization across marketplace and direct distribution models. 
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and the ability to guide partners on embedding AI capabilities into platform-native and integrated solutions. 
• Excellent communication skills with executive presence; ability to engage with CxO-level audiences at both partner organizations and end customers. 
• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. 

Preferred & Standout Experience: 

• Experience with ServiceNow platform development and/or ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS). 
• Experience building and publishing applications on enterprise platform marketplaces (ServiceNow Store, AWS Marketplace, Azure Marketplace, Salesforce AppExchange). 
• Direct experience working with or at hyperscaler organizations (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft) in alliance, partner, or solution architecture roles. 
• Experience with strategic technology partnership development, including joint reference architecture creation, integration certification, and co-sell program execution. 
• Background in business development, partner go-to-market planning, or technology alliance management. 
• Design Thinking training or certification; experience applying co-creation methodologies. 
• Deep knowledge of at least one industry vertical (Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Public Sector). 
• Familiarity with competitive ISV platforms, iPaaS solutions, and cloud-native application development patterns. 

What This Role Does Not Do 

• Perform platform configuration, development, or solution delivery on behalf of partners. 
• Own commercial contracts, Store pricing, marketplace economics, or financial program management. 
• Manage day-to-day partner relationships (coordinates with Technology Partner Management and Hyperscaler Alliance teams). 
• Perform Store certification or marketplace listing testing (supports readiness; certification and marketplace teams own processes). 
• Own hyperscaler commercial negotiations or cloud consumption commitments (coordinates with Hyperscaler Alliance leadership). 

Travel for partner, customer, and organizational activities up to 25%.
