Parts Manager, Aftersales

Core Identity and Role

• Position Overview: An automotive aftersales role responsible for managing spare parts inventory and warehouse operations.

• Operational Focus: Ensures parts availability, efficient stock control, and smooth support for servicing and repair operations.

• Work Environment: Fast-paced dealership or distributor environment requiring coordination across multiple aftersales functions.

• Stakeholder Interaction: Works closely with workshop, warranty, and service teams to support operational needs.

Key Technical Functions

• Inventory Planning & Stock Control:
  Manage parts ordering, stock levels, and inventory turnover to ensure parts availability.

• Warehouse Operations:
  Oversee daily warehouse activities, stock handling, and inventory reporting.

• Operational Coordination:
  Coordinate with workshop and warranty teams to support repair and servicing requirements.

• Performance Monitoring:
  Analyse inventory trends and optimise stock management processes.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive parts management.

• Industry Background:
  Experience in dealership or automotive distributor environments.

• Core Skills:

  • Strong inventory planning and analytical skills

  • Good coordination and operational management abilities

  • Knowledge of automotive parts operations and stock control
