Pastor (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Description/Key Responsibilities

• Preach and teach the Word of God in Mandarin.
• Provide pastoral care, counselling, visitation and spiritual guidance to church members.
• Lead and disciple the Mandarin congregation through regular worship services, Bible studies, prayer meetings and other church ministries.
• Equip and mentor ministry leaders and volunteers.
• Support evangelism, outreach and discipleship initiatives.
• Work closely with the church leadership to plan and implement the church's vision and ministry objectives.
• Participate in church meetings and administrative responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Theology from a recognised theological institution.
• Able to preach and minister effectively in Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Relevant pastoral or ministry experience is preferred but not essential.
• Passion for shepherding God's people and reaching the community with the Gospel.
• Good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays as required by church ministry.

- Good sense of identification, commitment, tact, diplomacy & discretion.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of pastoral and social issues.
