Patient Service Associate (Operation Listing) - Room for Advancement

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate care, empathy and professionalism in delivering prompt and excellent services to patients.
• Provide financial counselling services, estimated bill sizes, pre-op counselling and financial assistance to patients or their next of kin with regards to their scheduled operation, including booking of Operation date and coordinate follow-up required.
• Assist Executive/Manager in Go-live Preparation activities such as updating of work instructions, participate in User-Acceptance Testing and transfer learning to the team.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient’s information.
• Ensure that the daily scheduling of the various procedures is done in a timely, organized and efficient manner.
• Contact patients the day before surgery to reinforce time to come to Centre for admission and fasting instructions accordingly.
• Assist and provide general administrative support such as phone and email enquiries, etc

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline / GCE ‘A’ / GCE ‘O' level / Higher NITEC in any discipline/ NITEC in Service Skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to speak a second language will be an advantage.
• Good customer service skills. Prior experience in hospitality or service industries will be an advantage.
• Team player with organizing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of SAP will be an advantage.
• Strong passion to provide excellent service to the patients and internal stakeholders.
• Comfortable with working in hospital setting.
