This position focuses on assisting with system setups, managing New Part Requests (NPRs), and ensuring smooth implementation of process changes across multiple fab systems. You will collaborate closely with PI engineers, Change Management, Traveler Control, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, PI Technicians, and cross-functional teams such as Operations, Information Systems, Planning, and Inventory.\n\nYour primary responsibility is to support timely and accurate conversions, traveler revisions, and NPRs in accordance with established Best Known Methods (BKMs). You will also help maintain reporting metrics and provide basic user support for conversion-related processes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Assist in coordinating process conversions and system setup requests for automated lot processing.\n * Support the implementation of New Part Requests (NPRs) by following business rules and BKMs under guidance\n * Enter and verify changes in Micron\u2019s process management systems, including SPC, Traveler, Queue Time, and other change control applications\n * Perform conflict checks to validate accuracy and safety of conversion setups\n * Maintain and update part setups as directed, ensuring compliance with NPR guidelines\n * Contribute to documentation of lessons learned and business rules to improve conversion practices\n * Prepare and maintain simple weekly/monthly reports as assigned\n * Provide basic training and user support on Micron\u2019s conversion management systems and BKMs\n * Ensure adherence to Micron\u2019s global standards in all conversion-related activities under supervision\n\n\n\nRequirements \u0026 Qualifications \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, or a related discipline\n * Basic understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and workflows; prior internship or academic project experience in a semiconductor environment is a plus\n * Familiarity with fab systems such as process control, traveler management, and lot tracking\n * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including process development, integration, and yield enhancement (YE)\n * Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a dynamic technology development (TD) environment\n * Good verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly document and share findings\n * Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking through coursework or projects\n * Proactive attitude with a sense of ownership for assigned tasks\n * Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel required; experience with Tableau or scripting is a plus but not mandatory)\n * Ability to manage time effectively and pay attention to detail\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Process Engineer 1\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
