Piping Engineer (BIM Revit, EPC) - Lead - Urgent

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop Equipment Layout and Piping Arrangements for tendering and project execution. 

• Direct engineers and drafters to optimize and produce Plant Layouts and Piping arrangements within project timelines. 

• Lead the development of 2D and 3D models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD. 

• Lead the development and coordination of Building Information Modeling (BIM) models, utilizing Revit. 

• Lead the generation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) with minimal input from Process Engineering. 

• Develop and manage project piping specifications. 

• Take responsibility for developing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for pipes, fittings, and valves. 

• Manage and review technical information from external equipment and system suppliers, and coordinate with engineers from other disciplines within the organization. 

• Review drawings, documents, and material lists to ensure compliance with contractual technical specifications, installation control documents, and statutory regulations. 

• Act as the primary contact with contractors to provide design and engineering solutions on-site. 

• Participate in tests and trials, as necessary.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Mechanical Component Engineer and Piping Engineer in EPC projects for Power, Petrochemical, Water, and/or Waste-to-Energy plants. 
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent qualification. 
• Thorough knowledge of international design codes such as EN, ISO, ASME, etc. 
• Strong background in EPC projects. 
• Proficiency and extensive experience in utilizing Autodesk Revit modeling and AutoCAD software, with some familiarity with BIM administration.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers and drafters effectively.
