You will plan production against capacity constraints, analyze cycle time and yield drivers, and coordinate execution across GSC, Central Planning, and Site Management (Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Logistics) to ensure commitments are delivered on time. You will leverage MAM / SAP / Tableau to drive planning accuracy, visibility, and efficiency.\n\nMain Responsibilities: \n\n\nOn\u2011Time Delivery (OTD) Planning\n\n * Monitor weekly/daily production schedules and output plans to achieve OTD, considering inventory availability, capacity constraints, cycle time, yield, and other operational factors.\n\n\n\n\n * Kick start Manufacturing process by kitting wafer using MAM and SAP system.\n\n\n\n\n * Track plan misses and creates recovery/backfill plans for subsequent weeks; call out risks with root cause and mitigation.\n\n\n\n\nCross\u2011Functional Execution\n\n * Drive daily/weekly commit reviews with GSC, Central Planning, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Logistics; ensure actions are assigned and followed through.\n\n\n\n\n * Escalate critical risks with data\u2011backed impact assessments and recommend mitigation paths.\n\n\n\n\nOther Responsibilities: \nList secondary duties that also contribute to the role\u0027s performance and may be included in evaluations.\n\n * Contribute to continuous improvement (simplify planning processes, automate reports/dashboards in Tableau/Excel).\n\n\n\n\n * Support NPI/engineering kitting.\n\n\n\n\n \n\u2022 Minimum Required Qualifications/Experience \n\n * Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer engineering or relevant. \n\n\n\n\n\u2022 Must Have Technical Skills (2 to 5 skills) \n\n * Production and material planning expertise.\n\n\n\n\n * Capacity analysis and optimization techniques.\n\n\n\n\n * ERP system proficiency (SAP or equivalent).\n\n\n\n\n * Strong data analysis and reporting skills.\n\n\n\n\n\u2022 Must Have Soft Skills\n\n * Highly motivated to work in a dynamic environment and succeed using effective coping and management methods\n\n\n\n\n * Ability to multi-task and organize work systematically in meeting dead-lines without compromising on quality\n\n\n\n\n * Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.\n\n\n\n\n * Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.\n\n\n\n\n * Continuous improvement mindset.\n\n\n\n\n \n\u2022 Highly Desirable/Preferred skills or experience \n\n * Hands-on experience in SAP warehouse modules, ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) Management\n\n\n\n\n * Experience with MRB resolution.\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nDepartment Planner 1\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
