Co-Development Business Unit is hiring for Platform Operation Engineer

You will work in Singapore Government Agencies

This is a fixed term contract role. The engagement is 2 years with option to extend to 1 more year.

What will you do?

• Cloud (Public / Private / Hybrid): Demonstrated experience operating and supporting production workloads on public/commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure/Google cloud services) and private cloud environments (onprem virtualized platforms
• Operating Systems & Networking: Deep understanding of Linux/Windows internals (e.g., processes, memory, file systems) and TCP/IP fundamentals (e.g., latency, packet analysis, load balancing).
• Application Stack: Strong working knowledge of common production stacks such as web servers (Nginx, Apache), application servers (IIS, Tomcat, Node.js, uWSGI), caching (Redis, Memcached), and databases (SQL/NoSQL connectivity and query performance).
• Observability: Hands-on experience implementing and operating monitoring, logging and tracing capabilities using tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog, ELK, Splunk (or equivalent).
• Automation: Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management practices/tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef or equivalent), with evidence of automating operational workflows and reducing manual toil.

What are we looking for?

• Demonstrated experience implementing ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change) and/or SRE practices (e.g., error budgets, SLOs, toil reduction).
• Ability to design, document and maintain operational workflows and runbooks/playbooks that teams can follow consistently.
• Experience using operational metrics to drive decisions and improvements (e.g., availability, latency, incident trends, recurring problem themes, change failure rate).
• Leadership
• The candidate shall have leadership experience in a production environment, including:
• Minimum 3 years managing technical teams (internal teams or blended teams with vendors/contractors).
• Experience in overseeing delivery services, including validating technical work (e.g., incident reports, RCA quality), managing escalations, and holding accountability for SLA adherence and corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical issues and operational risk into clear updates for business stakeholders.
