Portfolio Manager, Transaction Banking Department - with Growth Opportunities

Job Description:

1) Daily monitoring of maturing trade finance bills/loans to ensure that all bills/loans are duly settled/roll-over on maturity date.

2) Review the workability of LC application and ensure that it is in line with Letter of Offer, credit approval and international ICC standards.

3) Perform back-to-back matching and ensure that any mismatches are addressed by RM/TMO.

4) Main contact for customer to address any trade technical query and/or back-to- back mismatches on the transaction

5) Work closely with TMO and keep them informed of stages in the transaction via email/phone and provide necessary documents/SWIFT.

6) Review the signed Transaction Approval memo are properly approved and there are no exceptions.

7) For structured transactions, adhere to instructions from TMO and follow up with customer on their transactions.

8) Liaise with Processing Centre on their document checking and

review the discrepancies highlighted by them before contacting customer(s).

9) Scan and provide Letter of Instruction (LOA) to Processing Centre via GTS system for outsourced transactions.

10) Each portfolio manager will handle transactions under the assigned customers. At the same time, he/she will cover (as back up) for another portfolio manager is on leave or not available.

Job Requirements:

- At least 2 years of Trade Operation experience

- External trade related qualification (e.g. CDCS) preferred.

- Able to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Able to communication effectively both written and spoken in English & Chinese with internal/external stakeholders and HQ.
