Meeting the clients’ facilities needs

In this role, you’ll be responsible for working closely with clients and suppliers onsite to identify their facility-related inquiries and requirements. Your planning and budgeting skills will also be vital to the job, as you’ll take part in the procurement of vendors and services from time to time.

At the same time, this role puts you on the first line of defense against risks. As such, you will help implement and manage risk management programs, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans. You’ll also be expected to follow escalation and incident reporting procedures and comply with the firm’s guidelines and strategies.

Experienced At a minimum, you have a Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building, business, or other related field and/or 3-4 years experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related field. You have experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and possess good knowledge and understanding of the following:

 

Critical Facilities

Local occupational health and safety requirements Vendor management for specialized services Basic technical aspects of property (Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system) Commercial contracts (as well as proven capacity to interpret them)

 

Capable

You are equipped with excellent planning & organizational skills in prioritizing work and meeting tight deadlines. You have a proven ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis. You are analytical and demonstrate the capacity to deal with ambiguity. You effectively provide long-term solutions to complex problems by employing quantitative and holistic approaches.

 

People Person

You are able to interact with a wide range of client staff, including senior levels, as well as manage conflict and balance between client and firm requirements. Internally, you are an effective leader who provides good training and promotes open, constructive, and collaborative relationships at all levels of staff across the region.

 

Inspiring

You have a passion for quality and an eye for detail to ensure the best service delivery. You are able to effectively deal with stressful situations as well as adapt to rapidly changing situations. You focus on meeting performance targets and can work well with others in the process. You are open to new ideas and willing to challenge the status quo in initiating and following through with improvement initiatives. People describe you as a self-motivated individual who is confident, energetic, and exhibits honesty & trustworthiness.

 

Passion for service

Do you have a prior experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or other related fields? Do you have an understanding of local occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities, and vendor management? Are you knowledgeable in various property systems?
