Post Fixture Analyst (Tanker)

Our client is a major Energy cum Commodities MNC. Currently, they are seeking an enthusiastic and well experienced candidate to join them as " Post Fixture Analyst (Tanker)”.

Responsibilities :

• Handling post fixture voyage claims
• Manage invoice issuance and post-fixture voyage claims in accordance with contractual term
• Handling hires and other claims of ship owners
• Collaborate with Finance team on operational profitability, budgeting variances, and basic financial accounting
• Time charterers and pools contract management
• Voyage profit and loss analysis and reporting
• Follow up with counterparties for timely payment and keeping records of outstanding amounts
• Monitor Shipping portfolio to ensure accurate market exposure management
   

Requirements:

• University Degree in Maritime or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years or more relevant experience in post fixture claims with a reputed Tanker Owner, Commercial Tanker Operator, Oil Major or Oil Trader
• Experienced in financial accounting would be an added advantage
• Strong analytical, problem solving skills
• Proactive, meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility
• Team player and able to work independently
• Good communication & interpersonal skills.
