Job Description - PowerBuilder Developer

Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using PowerBuilder (versions such as 9/10/12.5/2019 R2 or as required by the environment).

Enhance, optimize, and maintain existing PowerBuilder applications to improve performance, usability, and stability.

Implement new features, modules, and upgrades based on functional requirements and business needs.

Work with relational databases (e.g., Sybase ASE/IQ, SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL) using SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.

Optimize database queries and handle data migration, mapping, and integration tasks.

Ensure data integrity, performance, and security across application layers.

Collaborate with business analysts, end-users, and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.

Conduct system analysis, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions or enhancements.

Participate in architecture decisions and contribute to designing robust and scalable systems.
