Precision Engineering Technician / CNC Operator

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Precision Engineering Technician / CNC Operator in Singapore. Our client is a reputed organization in the Precision Engineering and Manufacturing sector seeking skilled, motivated professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling and CNC Lathe machines according to production requirements.
  
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately.
  
• Perform machine adjustments to achieve required tolerances and quality standards.
  
• Monitor machining operations and ensure precision component production.
  
• Conduct dimensional inspections using appropriate measuring instruments.
  
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow preventive maintenance practices.
  
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality procedures.
  

Required Skills

1. CNC Milling Operations – Ability to set up and operate milling machines independently.
   
2. CNC Lathe Operations – Experience handling turning operations and machine adjustments.
   
3. Technical Drawing Interpretation – Ability to read engineering blueprints and specifications.
   
4. Precision Manufacturing – Understanding of tolerance control and quality requirements.
   
5. Machine Setup & Calibration – Capability to prepare machines for production runs.
   

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
  
• Experience in high -volume manufacturing environments.
  
• Understanding of machining quality standards and documentation.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess experience in CNC Milling or CNC Lathe machine setting and operation within a manufacturing environment. Experience in precision engineering is preferred. Singapore experience or current residence in Singapore is mandatory as specified by the client.

Education

• Minimum: Diploma / Technical Certification in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering or related field (Typical)
  
• Preferred: Advanced technical certification in CNC machining (Typical)
  
• Additional Certifications: CNC Programming or Machine Operation Certifications (Typical)
