Job Description - Principal Engineer Lead/Manager, Process Development, Wet Process, NAND

The individual will lead a team of exceptional engineers to identify, prioritize and drive process solutions under the 15-month cadence umbrella for yield, reliability and cost gaps for NAND technology nodes in different stages of technology introduction and development.\n\nResponsibilities: \n\n * Maintain safe environment through proactive safety practices and by ensuring safety policies are always followed\n\n * Hire, develop, mentor, and manage a team of highly capable process engineers\n\n * Create a culture of innovation and tenacity within group to meet the needs of accelerated technology cadence\n\n * Provide regular feedback to your team members on performance, developing a career plan and mentoring the team members to support their professional development, through Micron\u2019s performance planning and appraisal process\n\n * Set strategy for future technology nodes and help define roadmap\n\n * Engage with suppliers to develop the process and equipment needed to meet Micron\u2019s technology roadmap\n\n * Collaborate with other process development, process integration, manufacturing development to align on project priorities and deliver robust, manufacturing friendly processes on time\n\n * Partner with Manufacturing fab for effective transfer, pilot ramp and ongoing development to achieve TECHNODE gate criteria\n\n * Engage with Procurement \u0026 Operations Central Teams and lead worldwide alignment efforts across technology to improve area efficiency\n\n * This position requires communications and collaboration with partners both locally and globally. Strict adherence to Micron Intellectual Property protection policy is a must\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelors/Master\u0027s in Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Material Science, Microelectronics, Chemistry or Physics with minimum 10yrs experience in the semiconductor industry in Wet Process, or\n\n * PhD in Electrical/Electronics, Chemical, Material Science, Microelectronics, Chemistry or Physics with minimum 5yrs experience in the semiconductor industry in Wet Process\n\n * Possess a deep understanding of the process technologies such as Vapor etch, wet strip, etc\n\n * Demonstrated ability to lead successful projects and experience overseeing a wet process engineering team\n\n * Must be able to instill a department culture within each team member in-line with the company core values\n\n * Must be an excellent communicator (verbal and written)\n\n * Demonstrated ability to take calculated risks challenging oneself and others to execute on new solutions\n\n * Must be seen by current reports as an excellent mentor, team builder, motivator and technical expert with proven ability to solicit feedback, accept input, and analyze success/failure\n\n * Must offer strategic thinking within the context of the PD leadership team in topics of team engagement, group morale, conducive working atmosphere and work culture\n\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Process Engineer 5\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
