Build high-efficiency automation platforms and CI/CD pipeline, drive critical issue resolution and product mass production.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Own overall test architecture, validation strategy and quality system for enterprise SSD firmware.\n * Design and implement test solutions covering functionality, performance, reliability, QoS, PLP, FTL, GC, power and security.\n * Build and optimize automation test framework, long-stability test system and CI/CD pipeline to support mass validation.\n * Lead root cause analysis and closure of critical FW issues including hang, drop, performance degradation and compatibility problems.\n * Participate in product architecture review and provide technical suggestions on FW design, NAND selection and reliability targets.\n * Drive test team capability improvement, process optimization and technical standardization.\n * Track new storage technologies: PCIe 5.0/6.0, NVMe 2.0, ZNS, CXL, automotive and industrial storage.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s/Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Microelectronics or related fields with at least 8 years of SSD firmware test/development experience; or minimum 3 years as test architect or technical leader\n * Deep expertise in NVMe/PCIe/SATA protocols and SSD core technologies: FTL, GC, WL, PLP, NAND Flash.\n * Proficient in Linux, Python/C/Shell, automation framework development and test tools (Fio, nvme-cli, PyNVMe, etc.)\n * Experience in HW/FW co-debugging, reliability validation and mass production test system\n * Strong architecture design, problem-solving and cross-team leadership skills.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Experience in enterprise/data center/automotive SSD, ZNS, CXL, NVMe-oF, Secure Boot or ASIL.\n * Led end-to-end test system/team setup for mass production\n * Storage-related patents or publications.\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nFirmware Engineer 5\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
