Principal, Forward Deployed AI Systems

1. Role Summary

Agents Stack is a Singapore-registered advisory firm specialising in agentic AI deployment for the banking and financial services sector across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. The Principal, Forward Deployed AI Systems is the firm's senior practitioner responsible for the end-to-end design, production deployment, and client advisory of enterprise agentic AI and cybersecurity platforms at regulated banking institutions.

The role combines Site Reliability Engineering discipline, agentic AI systems architecture, and cybersecurity expertise with forward deployed client advisory.

2. Key Responsibilities

2.1  Agentic AI architecture and deployment

• Design and deploy multi-agent AI systems for banking clients covering fraud triage, AML screening, compliance automation, and Know-Your-Customer workflows.
• Establish AI evaluation pipelines and quality gates ensuring that every production agent decision is auditable, explainable, and fit for regulatory examination.
• Manage the full AI deployment lifecycle from architecture through production rollout, hypercare, and client team knowledge transfer.
• Ensure all agentic AI systems meet the production reliability, observability, and audit trail standards required by MAS-supervised and equivalent regulated banking environments.

2.2  Site Reliability Engineering

• Apply SRE discipline to all production AI platform deployments: define SLAs, error budgets, and reliability targets aligned to client banking operations requirements.
• Design observability architectures covering logging, metrics, and distributed tracing for agentic AI systems operating under banking-grade SLA pressure.
• Lead incident response for production AI platform events, applying structured incident command practices and producing post-incident reviews that meet regulator documentation standards.
• Govern change management, release processes, and business continuity planning for AI systems interfacing with critical banking operations.

2.3  Cybersecurity and data protection

• Design enterprise data loss prevention strategies for banking clients covering all outbound data channels — email, cloud, web egress, and endpoint — aligned to MAS TRM Guidelines and equivalent regional frameworks.
• Architect endpoint security and device control frameworks to mitigate data exfiltration risk across managed device fleets without disrupting banking operations.
• Integrate AI-driven threat detection and behavioural anomaly identification into the client bank's security operations, enabling real-time risk scoring to surface insider threat activity.
• Design and implement third-party vendor access monitoring using Privileged Access Management integrations, ensuring automatic detection and termination of exfiltration activity during authorised vendor sessions.

2.4  Forward deployed client advisory

• Lead discovery engagements with Chief Risk Officers, CTOs, and CISOs at banking institutions across Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia, the UAE, and the United States.
• Scope and deliver paid Proof-of-Concept engagements with defined success metrics, producing board-ready ROI readouts that support the client's internal investment approval process.
• Represent the firm at Singapore FinTech Festival and equivalent regional banking technology forums; publish advisory content targeting banking executive audiences.
