We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Principal Lead Interior Designer to lead our design sales team, drive revenue growth, mentor designers, and support the company's continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the Interior Design Sales Team to achieve and exceed company sales targets.

• Provide guidance on design concepts, client management, sales strategies, and project execution.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Interior Designers.

• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team development initiatives.

• Build a positive, accountable, and results-driven team culture.

Sales & Business Growth

• Achieve individual sales targets while driving overall team performance.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve sales conversion rates and revenue growth.

• Lead by example in client acquisition, consultation, and project closing.

• Build strong relationships with homeowners, property investors, and referral partners.

• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the company's expansion plans.

Design & Project Oversight

• Oversee projects from initial consultation through design development and project completion.

• Ensure design proposals align with clients' requirements, budgets, and expectations.

• Review space planning, material selections, and design presentations before client submissions.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Operations & Process Management

• Assist management in improving sales operations, workflow efficiency, and internal processes.

• Monitor project pipelines and team productivity.

• Develop and implement best practices to enhance customer experience and project outcomes.

• Support management in achieving company growth objectives and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Singapore's interior design and renovation industry.

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing renovation projects.

• Previous experience leading or mentoring a team of Interior Designers is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of residential renovation processes, construction methods, and interior detailing.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Strong business acumen and customer relationship management capabilities.

• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
