Principal Post-Trade Solution Architect

This role owns and steers the design and integration of all post‑trade digital trading solutions, ensuring end‑to‑end coherence across the trading ecosystem. You will be accountable for the effective design, governance, and integration of Risk, Pricing and Valuation, Trade Capture and Lifecycle Management, and Reporting solutions, ensuring they are scalable, well‑controlled, and aligned with Woodside’s broader trading strategy and technology landscape.

This position will be based residentially in Singapore.

Post-trade architecture ownership and compliance​

• Shape and own the post-trade integrated solution architecture domain as a data-centric architecture ecosystem​
• Ensure that overarching architectural principles are maintained to guide technical changes towards a data-centric architecture​
• Drive compliance with Woodside Trading architecture blueprint and ensure alignment across domains and ecosystems ​

​Design and delivery​

• Contribute and shape the technical design of technological solutions for trading use cases with the Trading Data Layer Domain Owner​
• Partner with Front-office, Middle-office, and Back-office to translate commercial logic into scalable technical solutions that focus on value generation for the business​
• Capture Trading-specific knowledge from 3rd party vendors and ensure continuous upskilling and advancement of Woodside digital teams​

​Integrated view across thetrading landscape​

• Work together closely with the Trading Ecosystem Owner, Pre-Trade Domain Owner and Data Domain Owner to seamlessly optimise the (highly connected) trading technology ecosystems and get maximum value for the business of the overall technology landscape

    6. Skills and experience    

• Strong expertise in modern technology architecture design patterns​
• Strong technical literacy APIs, and streaming integration​
• Proven expertise integrating trading commercial (off-the-shelf) and bespoke build solutions into a data-centric trading architecture ecosystem​
• Strong and modern expertise in building Asset-backed trading capabilities ​
• Deep knowledge of Pre-trade capabilities including analytics, portfolio optimisation, price curves, market access, systematic trading etc. ​
• Good understanding of Post-trade capabilities including e.g., valuation, risk, trade capture & lifecycle solutions etc.
• Strong communication skills to bridge gap between Front-, Middle and Back-office business requirements and technology ​
• Pragmatic approach to trade-off and decision facilitation
