Job Description - Principal Process Engineer (Lithography) - Hiring Now

Job descriptions:

  • Develop and update all Process specifications, WI, training checklist, troubleshooting and control procedures
  • Lead the team in troubleshooting process related issues and product quality issues by applying Root Cause Analysis and six sigma methodologies.
  • Manage all non-conformance material and scraps disposition according to process control procedures.
  • Ensure all engineering processes are in control using SPC and other methodologies
  • Characterise and improve existing/ new processes through DOE and data driven analysis to improve/ develop/ release/ transfer engineering process continuously to capability >1.67.
  • Work closely with process integration/ RD/ TD department on developing & implementing manufacturing process for the products manufactured and formulate all process control plan, FMEA, risk analysis and procedures for
    existing and new process being qualified.
  • Lead actively in key project such as cost reduction, yield improvement, Cpk. improvement, new product / process development, new machine qualification, process optimization, cycle time improvement and new material evaluation/qualification through Change Request Board/ customers with proper data analysis. (P-test requirement)
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the division.
  • Coaches, mentor and conduct training for targeted organizations on process engineering systems including module AE and Technician on module processes, SOP, and OCAP
  • Plan & undertake process ownership for stability and improvement of process windows with Continuous Improvement Project (CIP) to achieve best in class in yield, quality, productivity and cost.
  • Work on improvement projects with AE, technicians, equipment engineers and across modules to assure continuous reliability of production equipment and processes to achieve high equipment productivity, quality and cost.
  • Participate in AMF IP, Know-How Reward Scheme, Best Known Manufacturing Methods, Process Simplification opportunities projects into existing and early development phase of upcoming nodes
  • Formulate with equipment engineering team on all equipment control procedures and troubleshoot on machine related defects and quality issues and prevention systems
  • Work on new process developments with equipment engineering team, cross modules, NPI/TD/RD to ensure sufficient process window and suitable machine controls and monitoring in place for mass production mode as UMD
    (Unit Module Development) team leader and Photolithography module technical representative
  • Undertake and responsible for LithoMetro Module Process KPI including Productivity, Cost and Quality, and drive for cross functional continuous improvement projects
  • Responsible for LithoMetro Process personnels training, certification and capability expertise upgrade including from external sources and papers for latest trends and discoveries

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Material / Chemical or similar Engineering field or equivalent minimum 9 years working experience in the field of Photolithography or Metrology Process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in photolithography or metrology process abnormality troubleshooting, engineering methods for process control, improvement and development.
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of 24/7 semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom operation environment
  • Expert knowledge and experience in engineering troubleshooting and process optimization in Photolithography or Metrology process recipe are preferred
  • Strong project management skills, accountable and takes ownership, ability to multi-task and prioritize and with sense of urgency
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving skill, and eager for learning different processes to troubleshoot, improve and develop
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey the message in concise and effective manner both in local as well as remote communications.
  • Must be able to work on 8 hours Normal or swing shift (5 days week: either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday)
  • MS Office and computer skills literate.
