Job Description - Principal/Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job summary
Design engineer needed for engineering consultancy firm. Must have 10-15 years of design experience in hospital, residential, commercial or mixed development projects. Registered PE preferred.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Set design criteria, check design calculation and drawings • Produce sketch drawings • Assist in fee proposals • Ensure documentation complies with Design Criteria / Client Brief / Approved Concept / Standards • Attend design, clients, architects and site meetings • Resolve technical problems during the project design and construction stages • Lead projects and supervise a team of engineers • Assist the Team Leader and Job Captain in the performance of their duties
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering • At least 10-15 years of design experience in an engineering consultancy firm • Must have design experience in hospital, residential, commercial or mixed development projects • Registered PE will be favourably considered
