And you are also responsible for leading the activities to achieve the Best in Class (BIC) TIQ performance (cost and schedule) across the network and industry. You are encouraged to work closely with the key partners (sites, central team partners and suppliers) to identify areas of opportunities and analyze their performance-to-plan data to improve TIQ performance. Micron is attracting the diversified and dedicated candidate to build innovative solution for all aspects.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nAs a Principal Engineer, Dry Etch Tool Installation Qualification for OCT, you will be considered an area domain expert in Dry Etch and will work as a site partner with Micron FABs globally and supplier partner with suppliers.\n\n * Understand short-term and long-term Cost goals within Front End and ensure alignment to corporate business goals. Initiate and drive multi-functional programs to achieve department business goals\n * Facilitate the definition of program scope, goals, work, timeline and resource requirements in collaboration with sponsors and partners\n * Manage the definition, refinement, and implementation of core methodologies and tools for business process including reporting\n * Collaborate with project teams to understand the business value of projects and programs in place and how they contribute to BIC plan.\n * Provide program and project performance updates periodically with communication across functional groups.\n * Ensure strategic roadmaps with important measures for Schedule and Cost are developed, maintained, and tracked to latest BIC targets.\n * Lead and continuously improve the TIQ business processes, continual improvement project and BKM alignment.\n * Prioritize and lead numerous projects based on Fab and corporate objectives. Move projects effectively through project lifecycle \u2013 definition, planning, implementation, acceptance and review.\n * Facilitate and drive global peer groups to align strategy and roadmap to achieve area objectives. Build metrics with clear line of sight to strategic objectives. Drive alignment to demonstrate performance improvement and hold accountability to those decisions.\n * Review and lead current Micron Sites TIQ performance, identify gaps and opportunities to achieve BIC performance.\n * Lead TIQ alignment and improvement to meet Micron TIQ objectives. Align procedures and define requirements based on technical assessment and lesson learns.\n * Drive continuous improvement in multiple aspects such as safety, Capex, cash cost, equipment performance, sustainability, new technology introduction, first of a kind tool enablement and etc.\n * Develop and improve Micron TIQ documentations when is needed, includes TIQ specification, TIQ configuration and related process qualification data.\n * Demonstrating Artificial Intelligence and digital tools to improve operational efficiency, enable data-driven insights, and accelerate business outcomes.\n\n\n\nAI Responsibilities\n\n * Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\n * Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one\u2019s scope of work.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n * Masters or Bachelor or equivalent experience in engineering\n * 3+ years of experience with tool installation of Dry Etch equipment\n * Preferred hands on experience in cost management\n * Good communication in English\n * Willing to travel\n * Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role\u2011appropriate AI literacy to use AI\u2011enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem\u2011solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nFAB Engineer 4 - FAB Engineer 5\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
