Private Bank Business Monitoring Officer

A leading, prestigious international private bank is seeking a dynamic professional to join its business monitoring team. This role sits within the business, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that client-facing front office activities strictly align with internal policies and global regulatory requirements.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

1. Conducts thorough, risk-based evaluations focusing heavily on client suitability, pricing, staff conduct, and sales and dealing practices
2. Performs comprehensive monitoring and surveillance controls to validate adherence to established frameworks for specific risk taxonomies, including fraud and client confidentiality
3. Serves as a reliable, upstream advisor to client-facing teams on diverse regulatory and risk management topics

To be eligible for this role you will require:

1. 5 years or more experience in private banking business monitoring, business risk or compliance advisory with domain expertise in suitability, best execution, conduct etc.
2. Familiarity with private banking regulatory requirements, business processes and market best practices
3. Strong communication and stakeholders’ skills.
