Job Title: Private Banking Product Specialist: Funds and Mandate / Alternative Investments (AVP/VP)

Key Responsibilities

Fund Platform & Alternative Investments

1. Support the growth of fund and discretionary portfolio allocations within client portfolios.
2. Conduct research and due diligence on Alternative Investments, including Private Market and Hedge Funds.
3. Prepare internal reports, client presentations, and market updates on investment strategies and fund performance.
4. Maintain relationships with fund managers, counterparties, and industry participants while monitoring market developments.
5. Promote approved funds and portfolio solutions in line with the platform’s Focus List.
6. Contribute to the review and development of approved fund product lists.
7. Provide guidance to Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors on fund selection, investment ideas, and client queries.
8. Collaborate with the broader funds team to ensure consistent support and coverage.

Discretionary Portfolio Management

1. Assist in the oversight and management of discretionary mandates and portfolios.
2. Support portfolio monitoring, allocation decisions, and performance reviews.

Sales & Client Support

1. Partner with Relationship Managers and Investment Counsellors to develop client investment proposals.
2. Deliver investment updates, market commentary, and client-facing materials.
3. Provide training and knowledge sharing to strengthen investment understanding within client-facing teams.
4. Respond promptly to internal investment-related queries.

Compliance & Process Management

1. Ensure adherence to internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
2. Support product governance processes including due diligence, product setup, and periodic reviews.
3. Participate in initiatives to improve operational processes and systems.

Key Skills & Attributes

1. Strong knowledge of fund products, particularly Alternative Investments and Private Markets.
2. Experience within private banking or wealth management environments.
3. Strong teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
4. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
5. Experience working across Asia-Pacific markets.
