Private Tutor (Secondary Education) - Hiring Now

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Private Tutor to deliver engaging lessons and inspire Secondary school students. The Private Tutor will be responsible for conducting regular classes and enrichment lessons that foster a love for learning, while utilizing a variety of teaching methods to ensure high-quality education. Responsibilities:

• Deliver interactive and dynamic lessons that are engaging and enjoyable for Secondary school students.
• Cultivate a strong enthusiasm for English and Mandarin Writing among students, fostering their creativity and language skills.
• Conduct regular classes and enrichment sessions for Secondary students, tailoring teaching methods to individual learning styles.
• Utilize appropriate teaching techniques and strategies to ensure effective comprehension and skill development.
• Create a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages students' confidence and participation.
• Teach, coach, and guide students in their academic journey, instilling a sense of curiosity and passion for learning.
• Provide constructive and timely feedback on students' progress, including conducting assessments and sharing weekly updates with parents.
• Collaborate with parents to address any concerns and discuss strategies to support students' development.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance teaching methods, incorporating feedback and adapting to students' needs.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must possess at least degree in any field.  If the applicant is from a university ranked in the top 100 of QS/US rankings, they will have an advantage.
• Teaching or tutoring experience, especially in Secondary education, is preferred.
• Highly passionate and energetic, creating engaging and activity-packed lessons.
• Strong affinity for connecting with children and igniting their excitement for learning.
• Results-driven with a positive "can-do" attitude, dedicated to fostering student progress.
• Reflective and open to incorporating feedback to improve teaching approaches.
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken forms.
