Process Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Process Engineer (Electroplating):

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate across departments (e.g., Quality, Production, and Marketing) to support project implementation and continuous process improvements.
• Liaise with external suppliers to manage chemical specifications, monitor process performance, and resolve technical issues.
• Support setup and modifications of plating lines, including designing jigs, racks, and managing chemical bath conditions.
• Lead and execute assigned engineering tasks and improvement projects in line with organizational objectives.
• Monitor and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project milestones.
• Standardize documentation and systems to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.
• Review and approve test results and quality reports for new samples and materials.
• Oversee the introduction and qualification of new raw materials, products, and manufacturing processes.
• Drive initiatives that contribute to process optimization and cost efficiency.
• Monitor product and material performance, and initiate corrective actions when needed to support continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electroplating or a relevant technical field.
• Proficient in the use of analytical instruments such as X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM).
• Strong project management, leadership, and collaborative skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and proactive in managing tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Information:

• Salary: Up to SGD 4,200 + AWS +VB (2 - 3 Months)
• Working Location: Joo Koon
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.50am to 4.55pm
