Process Engineer - Immediate Start

SUMMARY OF ROLE

As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing processes and equipment in our manufacturing facility. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our production processes operate efficiently and safely while meeting quality and production targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes: Develop, design, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure that our production facility operates safely, efficiently, and at maximum capacity.
• Evaluate equipment and technology: Analyze new equipment and technology to determine if they are suitable for implementation in our production processes. Determine if they will improve efficiency, reduce waste, or increase safety.
• Develop process control strategies: Develop and implement process control strategies to monitor and control production processes. Ensure that these processes are operated within defined quality and safety standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and provide solutions to address inefficiencies or bottlenecks. Continuously evaluate and optimize processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety teams to ensure that processes are implemented and operated safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Documentation and Reporting: Document processes, procedures, and performance data. Provide regular reports and presentations on process performance and improvement initiatives.
• Training: Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on the operation and maintenance of manufacturing processes and equipment. Ensure that training is effective and up-to-date with current process and safety standards.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with process control strategies and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools is preferred.
