The Process Improvement Expert will critically evaluate current Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies: spanning Agile, traditional Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce administrative overhead. Operating at the intersection of technology delivery, risk management, and strategic PMO, the successful candidate will transform stakeholder feedback into measurable structural enhancements. A key focus will be maintaining uncompromising adherence to regulatory standards while exploring modern capabilities, such as automated workflows and advanced project management tools, to future-proof the organization's delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• SDLC Process Re-engineering: Conduct rigorous assessments of end-to-end technology delivery lifecycles, from architecture and requirements gathering through to CI/CD, testing, and release management. Implement structural changes to streamline delivery workflows and reduce overall time-to-market.

• Data-Driven Feedback Analytics: Design and manage a comprehensive stakeholder feedback ecosystem. Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (e.g., complex arrays, dynamic data modeling, and pivot tables) to quantify qualitative feedback, track operational metrics, and pinpoint root-cause friction within the delivery pipelines.

• Strategic Workshop Facilitation: Orchestrate and moderate cross-functional alignment sessions encompassing engineering, business, and compliance stakeholders. Responsibilities require meticulous agenda design, objective setting, conflict resolution, and the ability to drive disparate groups toward consensus on process solutions.

• Executive Storytelling & Alignment: Synthesize intricate process mechanics, risk controls, and performance metrics into highly polished, visually compelling Microsoft PowerPoint presentations. Deliver executive-grade narratives to secure strategic buy-in from senior leadership and technology steering committees.

Governance & Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean IT and Six Sigma principles to systematically identify and eliminate waste across all software engineering workflows. Ensure all optimized frameworks align strictly with Technology Risk Management (TRM) guidelines and internal audit requirements.

Prerequisites

• Professional Background: 6-8 years of proven track record in technology process improvement, IT governance, or technology transformation within the financial services sector or complex corporate environments, with around 10-12 years of total work experience.
• Consulting Expertise: Prior tenure at a top-tier management or technology consulting firm is considered a significant advantage.
• Delivery Framework Proficiency: Deep, practical understanding of enterprise-scale software engineering and SDLC mechanics. Proven capability in managing the complexities of diverse delivery ecosystems, particularly the integration of modern Agile practices within heavily regulated environments.
• Methodology Mastery: Demonstrated application of Lean Process Management and Six Sigma frameworks. Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) are highly preferred, alongside practical experience in Value Stream Mapping and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Analytical & Presentation Excellence: Expert-level proficiency in leveraging data analysis to inform operational strategy, paired with the ability to construct sophisticated executive communications that drive decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
