Process Support Engineer (New College Graduate)

Role Responsibilities:\n\n * Follow procedures learned in your training to provide high-visibility customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, and the service and repair of complex systems and equipment \n\n * Work closely with the customer to develop leading-edge processes used to manufacture the most advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devices \n\n * Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE); analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high-level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments \n\n * Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems; perform multiple root cause analysis; and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering and customer product issues \n\n * Communicate with both internal stakeholders and the customer to achieve goals with a focus on building relationships and establishing trust \n\n\n\n\n \nRequirements:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in chemistry/ physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field \n\n * Past internship experiences in semiconductor/ electronics/ manufacturing industry is an added advantage but not compulsory\n\n * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain sensitive information and work to build consensus among project stakeholders \n\n * Must be able to work closely with customers at customer site/ cleanroom daily\n\n\n\n\n \nWork Location:\n\n * You will be based at customer\u0027s site daily (North)\n\n\n\n\n## Qualifications\n\n### Education:\n\nBachelor\u0027s Degree\n\n### Skills\n\n### Certifications:\n\n### Languages:\n\n### Years of Experience:\n\nUp to 1 Year\n\n### Work Experience:\n\n## Additional Information\n\n### \n\n### Shift:\n\nDay (Singapore)\n\n### \n\n### Travel:\n\nYes, 20% of the Time\n\n### \n\n### Relocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\n### Referral Payment Plan:\n\nNone\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
